Grandma Kuhn was available to help us out on our first day "back at the ranch."
It's a new grandchild experience all over again since K.C.'s closest cousin in age is Kyle who is 19 years older.
Day 2: After this initial outing to the pediatrician, we got him a head rest since the rolled up receiving blanket didn't work out so well.
Days 3-4: After a couple of very long nights, K.C.'s feedings had to be increased to satisfy his hunger. Happy to report that Dad's feedings were modified in the opposite direction. ;)
Day 5: When he's hungry, this is the face we get just before the vocal part kicks in.
After his afternoon feeding, he's very alert. Though after every other feeding, he's fast asleep again.
This is Laura's favorite picture of K.C. so far.
After surviving a few nights this week with little sleep (see note above for days 3-4), we're settling in to a bit of a routine. Regardless of the sleep deprivation, we couldn't be happier.
K.C. takes burping is stride as long as you don't delay getting back to feeding.
Grandma is able to coax a couple of more burps out of him.
